Our Little Cult Leader j/k

Oh gosh does Payton have an imagination.  Her smile and energy just rub off on everyone around her.  She’s constantly putting that energy to use “scripting”.  This means that she’s playing out her cartoons in real life.  She’s in love with The Lion King and the cartoon spin off called The Lion Guard.  When she’s watching The Lion Guard, she likes to jump up on the coffee table and pretend she’s addressing her group or guard.  Then she jumps down and runs all around the house pretending to lead them.  It’s really funny to watch.  She’s also constantly looking up as she’s doing her jibber jabber speech.  You can tell she’s scripting; but you’d think there’s really someone there that she’s addressing.  This has led family members to believe she’s talking to spirits.  Hey who knows.  The ABA therapist says she climbs up on the slide in their “gym” and does this speech as well.  Since there’s other kids in there my husband jokingly thinks she’s starting a cult.  Hey I’d join.
